Who does the directive apply to?

NIS2 applies in particular to medium and large companies (over 50 employees or over €10M turnover) operating in critical sectors.

The directive also extends to supply and subcontracting chains: it often applies to subcontractors, IT service providers, software developers and logistics partners as well.
